Barry Steiner has assumed the role as President, Crestview Aerospace, effective September 17.

In 2006 Crestview joined the L-3 family and it is time to move to a new plateau to realize the growth we are sure is possible for this organization. Our thanks to Chuck Shanklin who stayed on to assist Crestview and L-3 during this transition period.

Barry has more than three decades senior level experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Materials and Program Management. He joined L-3 as Senior Director of Special Projects from Raytheon in 2005. Barry's initial assignment was to serve in a troubleshooting, mentoring and advisory capacity at a number of IS facilities. He most recently served as IS Vice President of Group Performance Initiatives, underscoring my commitment to delivering program performance excellence.

Based in Crestview, Florida, the organization provides aircraft structures, major airframe assemblies and military aircraft modifications to leading prime contractors and original equipment manufacturers.
